The JunctionI noticed for the first time in Five Towns Quiz League history, the name of the Junction was missing from the fixtures / tables this week.
For those of you that don't know, the Junction was the only pub that had submitted a team for every FTQL season since its inception in 1991. With the retirement of Bryan Milner, former league committee member and landlord at the Junction since 1983, the Junction team have moved the short distance to the Mexborough.
I'm sure that everyone involved in the league at every level will want to join me in thanking Bryan for his involvement in the league, and would want to wish Bryan a long and happy retirement.

Up The Junction !Yes, I'll go along with those sentiments, Andrew.
The Junction team, both Old and New, have proved enjoyable company, and good opponents, over the years, and it is great credit to them that they were the last of the originals.
Here's hoping that my team will be trading answers and banter again in the near future, with Bryan, Peter, The Sledmores (senior and junior !), and Kath.
