The stock markets appear to be in recovery, but of course, that could all change in an instant.
Corrie is getting a bit daft, that's what's happening with Corrie lol
In other news, there's rumours that we will be visited today by benevolent aliens who will show us the error of our ways and point us in the right direction.
I'm waiting!

Once again, waiting for a response on the website is like waiting for Godot.
The fixtures are up  and there were minutes taken at the meeting that I am hoping will be up soon - along with some rule changes.
The member teams have been updated but the entry for the Golden Lion Gems need to be changed as we will be playing from the Rock this season (as far as I know, as I have yet to hear from Brenda).

As you correctly point out Debby, the fixtures for this season are on the website.
I'll drop Simon a line about the Gems / Rock Inn thing, and also ask him to amend the end-of-season fixtures to put the first Monday of April 2009 as the 6th, rather than the 2nd.
The league rules as posted on the site are the up-to-date version as amended by the AGM last Monday, including the new rules 4, 5, 6, 16, 17 and 18.
I don't know whether Simon is intending posting the AGM minutes on the website, but if not I'll post them on here.
And I'm not sure that any alien civilization that possessed sufficiently advanced technology to reach here from their home planet would necessarily be benevolent. If they do arrive in the next week, you can bet your life that Simon will try to sign them up for the Flanagan's team!

I see that the website has been updated already (keep it up please) and that the Rustics are no more (as they had threatened) which is a shame. The long-term players seem to get less and less.
