Still early doors, I know - but what are people's thoughts on the new scoring system for individual rounds?

I'm very much in favour of the new scoring system.
I thought the previous system could sometimes lead to skewed results and did not fairly represent the abilities of some teams who were "unfortunate" in the questions they received. _________________ Barry Simmons |

Yes, I'm with Barry on this one.
The new individual round scoring system seems fairer, as it falls into line with all the other rounds.
Paradoxically though, the only match of ours so far, where the result "may" have been different under the old scoring system was when we recently lost to The Wanderers by 4 points. I can't remember the exact details, but we seemed to easily (but luckily !) win one of those rounds, maybe 9-4 or so, and under the old system, that could have been translated into a score of 15-6 or so.

It's as I predicted, lots of people on the same averages...
