There's just time (about a minute) to wish a happy 80th birthday today to Harry Beevers, one of the founders of the Five Towns Quiz League.
Neil.

Eighty!
What can I say? A fearsome opponent, a great man to quiz with, I consider myself very fortunate to have been on the same quiz team as him on a number of occasions.
One of the few men of whom it can be said that, without his input in the early years, the Five Towns Quiz League would not now exist.
Happy Birthday Harry, from me and, I'm sure, from the entire Five Towns Quiz League family! |

I'd like to echo those sentiments too.
What a smashing chap, very learned, yet very humble. A true gent !
Happy birthday, Harry, and knowing you're such a big cricket fan, a great innings so far ! |

Good effort Harry Beevers, without whom we couldn't have done it. Hope we might see you at a finals night sometime.
