I was disappointed at the turn out for this event perhaps I'm wrong but I think there should be at least one member from each team represented. The largest contingent was from Kippax they are enthusiastic supporters of the league I wish more teams were like them. There was only one full team to play for the trophy the other had half a team and one missing.I would like to know what others feel about this situation. Crying or Very sad

I agree with Brenda.

I was disappointed that Nick, Liz, Peter and Dob couldn't make it for my team, but understand why. Thanks to Simon and Andy for joining us.

I presume we have a common objective - to get more people to join in. We should be thinking of the best ways of achieving that.

Good night anyway and thanks to those involved.

Yes, I agree that the attendance was a little disappointing, but that isn't necessarily the fault of the absentees. The date of the event was only decided at the beginning of the month, and there was no banner promoting it on the front page of the website. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'll say again that if events are scheduled and advertised well in advance, there is more chance of people attending.

It's been suggested that the date of the AGM should be announced at the end of the previous season. The same could apply to the Charity Shield and the first week of league matches. Preferably venues could be announced too, although I appreciate they are liable to be changed for unavoidable reasons. And earlier planning might avoid having to go on into June as we are doing this season.

Oh, and please let's get the scores from last season's finals put up, before the pages are replaced with this season's details.

Neil.
